Yup--people of prinicple are the ones holding back a conservative revolution. What a contradictory crock of chicken spit!
How bout I demolish your "one issue" (how about the Second Amendment?) and then call you names nopardons?
Everyone has something that drives them to the polls, and it's based on the party platform.. you go to vote what you believe.
If you are abandoned there, then why go back?
Even better, why listen to some hack who tells you that your beliefs aren't worth voting for in the first place?
I dunno about you, but if the things I believe in aren't worthy of discussion, then I won't bother voting.
Your argument is a shell of "well, you won't do things my way with YOUR vote, so I am angry, grrrr."
Maybe things would be all well around here, but in terms of the electorate, those radical Freepers and one issue freepers probably don't add up to more than 2% of the popular vote nationwide. They may be a benefit, by giving conservatives something to be to the left of, which may help make them more palatable to the "center" voters.
