It used to be required for citizenship that immigrants learn the language. They don't even have to be fluent. But they should be able to conduct their business and do their d***** jobs in English. If they don't want to learn it they shouldn't come here. Let them stay in Mexico where they can be comfortable with their OWN national language!
And it isn't just the Mexicans either. It infuriates me to have to do business by telephone and you get somebody on the other end of the line after sitting on hold for 35 minutes and you can't understand a d***** word they say. By the time you hang up you don't even know if you actually accomplished what you need to!!!
Come on now, you are acting like they are ALL identical.
I am SURE there are PLENTY of Hispanic gang bangers out there in Ca., but that is more related to the environment out there. Around here, once in a while they will get too drunk, and commence to shooting one another, but they usually only shoot other Mexicans, and of course, usually a woman is involved.
Have you EVER tried to talk to one of them in their language??

Dammit, If you want to be in this greatest of all countries, learn our language - English, learn our almost forgotten values - depend upon yourselves, not the governmnet, and use lot's of rubbers - yes, each and every time - a new rubber. Comprende?
