Hmmmmm......seems like that is a sweet refrain from ca 1986, right? About every 15 years that tune becomes a little popular ditty, only to fade away into obscurity for a few more years...perhaps next time we hear that sweet refrain, it will only be 10 - 12 years.....given the size of the population now, there would probably be a real need to recognize and offer amnesty much quicker next time....especially with two Republican precedent setting administrations.

I don't have the time to look it up right now but if you go to the amnesty thread we've been posting on, somewhere in the 1800's or 1900's (I think it's 1900's) one of vllandigham's posts has actual numbers that will get in in...and it's a h*** of a lot more than we were told!! Maybe you could find that and post it. I will look, but I'm gonna have to go soon. I haven't even eaten yet.

I'd rather have Bush Legitimizing their presence here, than AlGore pandering to their presence here with more welfare like gov't dependance programs.

How would you handle it if you were Queen, Rowdee?? I know, I know, you would round 'em up and let your border collie drive 'em to the border. But let's assume that you couldn't easily round them all up, then what??
