Whoa there, Lynn.....politicans will lie to their own mother if it means winning! Dear, you really do give politicians way too much credit.....it isn't as though GHWB wasn't a seasoned veteran--for crying out loud for a New Englander to not know how the Democraps are! LOL.

I daresay if you go back and actually read very carefully what the President said/wrote/was ascribed to him, you may actually come away with a different view of what he actually said about CFR. I haven't bothered because I figured we'd get screwed again regardless of what the Republican said....of course, the screwing we'd have had under a Democrap could have been worse....I say 'could' because the GOP controlled House and Senate were bound and determined to outspend the Perverted President! I don't know if they would have been that generous in dealing with AlBore.

I agree with you other comments .. but with GHWB .. he couldn't get a handle on Clinton .. who is a season Bullsh1t artist ..

I tend to agree with Lynn .. GHWB put his foot in his mouth when he said the No New Taxes line ...
