We've been having an interesting time over here. My DSL wasn't connecting, for a couple of days, and after spending a loooong time on the phone, I spent some time with tech support. The story is that the start-up programs can interfere with the dsl connection, so we shut down most of the start-up programs. Now is seems to be OK.
Hubby bought a flat screen TV for us today (we've been using the ancient 19" I bought in 1983) and is busily hooking everything up. We've had a horrible time getting the DVD player to work with TV, but it seems to be working now. This technology is challenging!
We also signed up for DishNetwork while we were at it. It costs just 3 or 4 dollars a month more than our stinkin' cable, and have a lot more channels. Isn't competition a wonderful thing?
