Believe it or not Rowdee, I don't disagree with most of what you said. I wouldn't be quite as brash about it, but that is your style, and doesn't bother me in the least.
If I sound like I am defending ALL Mexicans then I apologize, but most of the ones I have met here in NC really just want to do better for themselves, the same as you and I. I can't comment on the rallys you spoke about, but I will keep my eyes peeled for threads about immigration from now on.
It may be totally different out there, where y'all are being overrun. It isn't that way here yet. (at least not in this part of the state, and I think we have one of the largest concentrations)
Now I am NOT against LEGAL immigration, only ILLEGAL immigration
I HAVE noticed however, that when ANY one group of people discover ways to ride the system, then they WILL do it if left unchecked. That is the same for Mexicans, Blacks, Indians, White people, purple Aliens, ALL of them.

But I have to agree with you there .. the ones I have met have just been nice hard working folks trying to live a decent life in a free country ..
No differnent from when my folks arrived in America .. and many didn't like us either ..
I recall hearing the stories of signs all over the place up here .. "Irish Need Not Apply"
And remember .. my folks are so old I got these story first hand .. lol
