I think '44-'46 depending on the
hysterian historian.
Ratty may have the hysterical official line somewhere.

When did the Baby Boomer generation begin?
That would have to have started just after, or during the war.
To: Prentice
I am afraid that I am gasp ... rattle ... a bit older than that.
To: Mo1
HUH????
You got something against being an X-er??
To: catpuppy
I think the Boomer Generation began in 1945 or 1946, at the end of WWII.

So Ratty, is horse manure good for canteloupes and watermelons?
To: catpuppy
Is there a melon expert among us Freeoples? This matters to me.

Found this...
So What's a Boomer, Anyhow?
Glad you asked. Stated very simply, the sociologists and the media define baby boomers as those born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. (There is no law or constitutional amendment so stating; and other boundaries have been suggested. But this is the time frame most commonly used.) In 2002, that would make us between 38 and 56 years old. There are about 76 million boomers in the U.S.; we currently represent about 29% of the U.S. population. (In Canada, we are sometimes known as "Boomies." There are 6 million of us there.)

You would be in either the 'G.I.' or the 'Silent' generation.
To: catpuppy
I figgered you were a
pre er sonic boomer when you said you had watched the Bay Bombers as an adult.
But anyone who saw Charlie and Joan and those quick little jammers knows the thrill of life at its fullest.

"I agree, willy jeff belongs on the ash heap of history with communism.. but jimmy carter still makes headlines.. it will be a long time before they just fade away!"
If either one of them had the best interest of the country at heart they'd stay in the background, far away from microphones and cameras. The very fact that they haven't done so serves to highlight just how unfit they were to lead.

I have never tried melon with manure on it.
But it sure seems to help them grow, the same as any other organic fertilizer would.
To: Prentice
Yep Prentice, the real San Fancisco Bay Bombers. It didn't get any better than that.
To: Mo1
Thank you, Mo. Sadly, I just missed inclusion in that generation. :)
