Many people say that if you can barely pass the PFT, you have no chance at passing BUD/S. Stew Smith from
www.stewsmith.com, recommends being able to produce these scores to be competitive at BUD/S. The rest periods and order of the workout is standardized.
500 yds swim(no goggles) under 9:00
10 min rest
Pushups 100 in 2:00
2 min rest
Situps 100 in 2:00
2 min rest
Pullups 20
10 min rest
1.5 mile run in boots/pants under 9:00

1.5 mile run in boots/pants under 9:00 Would this run be done on a beach? If so, I'm utterly amazed anybody could do it.

Here's what I think I could do:
500 yds swim(no goggles) under 9:00 (I really don't have any idea)
10 min rest
Pushups 50 in 2:00
2 min rest
Situps 70 in 2:00
2 min rest
Pullups 10
10 min rest
1.5 mile run in boots/pants under 11:00 Now, 10 years ago I could do about 60 pushups, 90 situps, 2 mile run in 13, 12-15 pullups.

Here is my self-assessment:
500 yds swim(no goggles) within June
10 days rest
Pushups 100 in July
2 weeks rest
Situps 100 in August
2 weeks rest
Pullups 20, interspersed with beers and snacks
10 days rest
1.5 mile run in boots/pants only if threatened by bear
Phase 2 would include fast food loading and video games.
