Go to any fast-food joint in Northern Virginia where all the workers are Mexican immigrants. You actually get
service, and you get your order
fast, and the food is
good and the lines
move quickly. Something we are certainnly not accustomed to here in central Virginia where the local yokels shuffle their way through the ordering process, barely able to communicate an English sentence, and after ordering, you cluster in a huddle until your number is called, the line backs up to the front door, and when you are finally served you discover your order is wrong and the service people couldn't care less.
I think a few hard working immigrants might improve the overall quality of this industry.
