Annex 4, Article 1, Paragraph 3: "Composition. Bosnia and Herzegovina shall consist of the two Entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska (hereinafter 'the Entities')." I therefore repeat that absoprtion of the RS would be a violation of the Dayton agreement, like it or not.
Your "argument" is speculation, or just smack talk isn't it? In other words, a very thick bluff. Why don't you tell me how long is it going to take for the Drina Valley to disappear from RS -- and for how long? More speculations...
the three main parties in Bosnia were ethnic slavs - all of whom were recently getting along without any attendant massacres until Slobo and his ilk pulled the wool over your eyes
You are actually pathetic! You have elevated the art of BS almost to a perfection. That's why they all voted along ethnic lines, and Alija Izetbegovic wrote his "Islamic Manifesto" way before "Slobo and his ilk."
How "recent" was it, Hoplite? Ten, fifteen, twenty years, fifty years ago? I don't know where you lived, but I remember way before "Slobo and his ilk pulled the wool over" my eyes that my neighbor in Derventa called my mother a "Serbian goose" because of a minor issue of his apples overgrowing the fence into our back yard. Tito's regime kept things under the lid, but the simmering hatred was there all along.
When the Irish Catholics and Irish Portestants decide that they are one people, there will be peace in Northern Irealnd. When Bosnian Muslims decide that they are not some "ethnic" group but Muslims Serbs and Croats, there will be peace in Bosnia.
As for any deviations from the Dayton, including outright violation of it, I would expect nothing short from the Office of the Imperial Proconsul there. Anything honorable would be an extreme perversion of its reputation.
Enjoy, while it lasts.
The results of this are already manifesting themselves in the Drina Valley, and the effect will accelerate over time.
End of story, discussion, and the RS.
