the ethnic distinctions that the retards in the Balkans have been making such hay with will fade into obscurity with time

the ethnic distinctions that the retards in Northern Ireland have been making such hay with will fade into obscurity with time...

And since when did absorption equal genocide? Did West Germany do something nasty to the East Germans that I'm unaware of?

Last time I checked, Germans were still Germans, East or West. Bosnian Muslims are the ones who claim they are not Serbs or Croats of islamic denomination, but some "ethnic" group based on religion! That's like creating a Catholic "nation" in the US...and similar nonsense that is somehow passed on with a straight face. But if we remind the freepers that Islam recognizes only one "nation" (Muslim), then it is obvious what this absorption would entail.

To absrob, by the way, means assimilate. The only way the "abortion of a nation," as you refer to the Serbs in Bosnia, could be assimilated/absorbed is by force. That was tried by Ante Pavelic in his Independent State of Croatia and was considered a genocide, as it would be today.

Besides, absorption of RS would be contrary to the Dayton agreemnet -- but then again, who cares, right?

Sorry kosta,

you're arguing against the inevitable, and last time I checked, the East Germans were still considered Ostlanders by the more, um, enlightened segment of German society, and the three main parties in Bosnia were ethnic slavs - all of whom were recently getting along without any attendant massacres until Slobo and his ilk pulled the wool over your eyes.

And as for Dayton, I suggest you read it closely - in agreeing to it Milosevic made pointless the three years of ethnic cleansing that Karadzic's forces engaged in - look into the stipulations for the return of refugees and figure out how long the Drina Valley is going to remain part of the RS - all that's left is an economically isolated basket case hemorhagging it's remaining best and brightest to anywhere other than the RS.

But then again, who actually wants to read the Dayton accords - it's much easier to just talk smack, huh?

We're done here, Kosta - and so is the RS, and Milosevic.
