Gee once upon a time they were outraged if such a think had federal money attached to it. Now they are just outraged...
Well that's interesting. Carl Everett, the short-fused Red Sox outfielder who has thankfully gone to the Rangers, said the dinosaurs never existed, because there is no mention of them in the Bible.
Which is it?
[L]ife-sized dinosaurs will illustrate the belief that they lived alongside Adam and Eve ...I hope they remember to include Fred and Wilma ...

"Oh no! Fundamentalist Christians are going to reinforce their beliefs about the origins of life!"
Maybe I'm missing something here, but isn't it a tad rediculous for scientists to be outraged by a creationist museum? As long as they aren't being forced to go there, who cares? If someone wanted to open a museum focused on debunking Newton, I might chuckle at the idea but I wouldn't be outraged.
Sure, maybe the museum's founders are incorrect in their beliefs. But does it really matter if people think God created Adam and Eve, instead of believing in evolution?
Scientific truth does not disprove anyone's core religious faith.
Those who feel the need to re-write science in order to maintain their faith:
a) have a very weak grasp on their own faith and need to re-inforce it with a "war against science"
b) misunderstand the true nature of faith and the true nature of science.
IMHO
I hope they don't forget the selective-breeding loophole.
Well to make the article true, you'd only have to find two such scientists in the entire universe (since it was plural.) Pretty safe bet.
But as someone said, more like amused than outraged for most of the rest of us. I think it would be a fun tour. Can you imagine the outright horselaughs along the route? I mean Laurel and Hardy play acted at being stupid -- but these folks are the genuine article! What fun!
