Yes, the Muslim countries see us as morally corrupt because they are receiving our exported pornography, etc. They perceive that all American women are loose.

The Pharisees loved the Scriptures, memorized it and abided by the letter of the law. They had nothing to do with the outcasts and sinners of that day. Amazingly, Jesus came for those outcasts and blatant sinners. He loved them and spent time with them. Then he even died for them and asked God to forgive them. Who are the outcasts and sinners of the religious folks today? Feminists? Homosexuals? Liberals? Does Jesus love them? Are we, as conservative Christians raising our fists at them or are we loving them and being kind to them?

As Moses, when he interceded on behalf of the rebellious Israelites, I believe that we should be flat on our faces interceding on behalf of our communities and country.

Are we more like the Pharisees or are we like Jesus? Hard question.

History indicates that over a course of time people will evetually rule themselves, and granted, that has taken various civilizations hundereds of years to achieve. God's word tells us to "Love our neighbors as we love our selves" and to give to those who are less fortunate and in need. The segminet of society that does not hold or believe in God's instruction are the essential cause of a less than peacefull existance. In todays America, unfortunately, that is predominately everyone. That is not to say we are a God-less society or that anyone purposefully causes strife in anothers life, though some do. As a nation we like material wealth and the luxuries that accompany it and for most, life is easy in the US. When we see that our neighbor has something material that makes his life easier than our own, human nature compells us to seek the same. Put simply, it's personal greed that allows our GOLIATH to grow. As long as the present standard of living remians in the US, it is reasonable to conclude that we will continue to observe and complain about the injustices of our GOLIATH, but we will not act. GOLIATH is counting on it, at least until that time comes when we have no means to act.
