I have noticed in the local papers here, and on TV news, that in the last couple of years whenever the description of the perpetrator of a crime is posted race is now no longer included in the description. When I got to looking into some of these it seemed to always come up that the perp was black.

The use of ecstasy was announced in the initial report (although her name and race were withheld).

The perception is that ecstasty is largely a white used drug (raves, college parties, etc.).
