I'd like to conduct a FReep on the prosecutor stating that this should be considered a hate crime. Everyone knows if a white person killed a black person in this fashion the alphabet channels would be in an uproar. The NAACP would use it as an attack on GWB... but this case the media could care less about.

The Texas Hate Crime bill doesn't apply to murder, so it's moot. And I cringe when I see conservatives calling for hate crime prosecution anyway.
