I think we should ask him in person. Anyone for a march on D.C.?

Anyone for a march on D.C.?
I had the same thought last night.

Wouldn't it be great if we could get thousands of protestors to descend on Washington and let them know what most Americans really think of what's going on? That is what it's going to take. That, and voting the rascals out.

I'm a new poster here, though I've been lurking for a while.
Writing letters and preaching to the choir isn't going to get the results we want. The pols aren't listening to us anynmore. A well organized march on D.C. would show that we are serious about this issue and possibly create a groundswell of support that the sell-outs won't be able to ignore.
Count me in.

Count me in for a march on D.C. How about shooting for cinqo de mayo. It would be so ironically appropriate. For a long time I've had the vision of millions of us standing at the Mexican border, shoulder to shoulder without an inch of space between us and the determination of a lifetime on our faces. I'd gladly stand next to each of you patriots whether at the border, D.C. or the local town square.
I so want this invasion by Mexico and this sell-out by our leaders to stop, and I know that I am joined by the majority of Americans in this wish. However, like you I am beyond frustrated that nothing we do or say seems to effect any change in this headlong pursuit of national suicide. All I can do is cry out to God and ask you to join me in this humble prayer, "Please help, God. Save us from our oppressors by your great love, tender mercy and mighty power. You specialize in things called impossible by man. We need you, dear Lord, in our nation like never before. Please come and save us, for Jesus sake...Amen."

"I think we should ask him in person. Anyone for a march on D.C.?" If we could be heard first hand by congress and/or the president, you bet!
