Most of us felt with every fiber of our being that no one could possibly be worse than Clinton/Gore; and, certainly not one of our own.
As such?
Many of us defended the party's candidate tooth & nail; which, this go around happened to be GWBush.
Our party loyalty merely based on what we thought right & just; and, well before CFR, teriffs, this amnesty atrocity ~& God knows what else this administration will roll over on before all's said & done.
Personally I've been a steadfast supporter of this Repub POTUS; and, especially following 911.
To me, my support was the patriotic & right thing to do; still is, too.
I'll continue to support this administration; however, it'll be a jaded support with an eye jaundiced by percieved betrayal.

The paradox of our times knows-not political parties; not when it came to the forces who form our opinions -- ie, the Lamestream media?
Although in all honesty, & using hindsight?
Most of us, myself first & foremost, thought it did make a difference.
I'd hoped against hope it would matter & now I'd also have to admit [by now], it's apparent I (for one) was very wrong indeed; dead wrong.
Still, right here on this very forum are those who on the one hand will gladly damn the Lamestream sycophant SOBs; while on the other?
Turn right around & permit that same Leftist-Socialist media to form & influence their opinion(s) -- on candidates representing our ideology. (>?< !!)

Even Rush has pointed out (on numerous occasions) how the Right seems to look to the Lamestream media for some kind of validation of us, our beliefs, our candidates?
Such successful sliming & smearing of Buchanon by that damnedable media to OUR people, is precisely what happened to Mr. Buchanon, IMO.
Now, the chickens are comin' home to roost.

Another good example of the sheeple's paradox other than the Lamestream media, might be: how many times have you heard "conservatives" here badmouth Capitalism & the very concept of free enterprise et al?
When if you actually listened to what they were attacking, & how they were saying what they were??
They sounded as bad & often worse than any of the far left socialists ever could.
