By the way, I'm more convinced now that this is a complicated deal between Bush and Cannon for Geneva Steel:
Geneva files for Bankruptcy
I think Cannon's running the game for Bush in return for steel price protection so that Geneva can come back out of bankruptcy. In other words, all of them are selling us down the river for their own gain.
Shocking.

Bush is definitely the pusher of all this. If we had a president leading in the other direction, Cannon would be irrevelant. So it wouldn't suprise me if back door wheeling and dealing is going on to get the votes and support in exchange for whatever Cannon and others want for their districts, or personal interests. This is exactly the kind of sleezy politics I used to see the liberals engage in all the time.

The House's biggest backer of Amnesty for criminal illegal aliens just happens to be financially tied to a bankrupt steel company and Bush just a week ago slapped tariffs on imported steel. Bush is looking more and more like Slick Willie every day.
