I wonder who is giving them that idea? It seems to me this has already been discussed between the two administrations, and the way they are bringing this bill up, it's probably a done deal.

Ultimately, the blame lies with us for letting them get away with this. We have the leaders we deserve. If Mexican officials look at the USA not as a nation, but as a natural resource they can plunder at will, it should not be suprising, since that is exactly how "our" leaders view the USA. Just seeing this go on in OUR country and Jorge Bush seemingly condoning it throws me in a blind rage. What is wrong with this guy?

I now see that the greater danger is when a president turns against his supporters. Like many have said, if Clinton or Gore tried pulling this the rage within the conservative ranks would be so great they wouldn’t be able to get away with it or even bring it up. While I don't believe Bush to be an evil man I do think what he is doing to America with his insane open borders policies is truly evil.
