Tancredo doubts he can block amnesty-extension bill

Everyone who used the correct legal channels to immigrate here and their sponsors should file a class action lawsuit against the US government (INS) for a refund of both filing fees and attorney's fees. If we can't make them listen to us, we'll force their hand.

This is the PERFECT Revolt! This is a very strong achilles heel for Presidente Bush y Fox and their dastardly plans. How could the President counter the angry claims of those who spent a lot of money and time to go through the line in an orderly fashion LEGALLY; Class Action Suit! Great Idea!

Bush goes to the end of the line, and, taking them by the hand, lets his 'friends' cut through to the front for their ice cream, ignoring all the others who queued up in order and under the rules. How can Bush be 'ANGRY' at the INS today over the issuance of visas to terrorists post facto. He himself views the who INS process and federal law as a farce.

I voted for him too. But after Ron Paul did what he did in this case I don't know if I can stand to support them any more. I mean the only guy we have up there is voting to give my taxes away to more illegals (whether they're called illegal or not) and he knows it. I am disappointed in Ron Paul, but realize that Ron Paul is nothing but a libertarian serving in the House under the Republican banner. Mr. Paul has now shown himself to be nothing but a two-faced hypocrite, since he has always bragged in the past that he is the only one in the House voting against ideas like a proclamation day for Peanuts creator Charles Schultz upon his death and the naming of Ronald Reagan Airport. After his so-called stance on these things, he turns around and pulls this crap. But then again, he is nothing but a libertarian serving falsely under the Republican banner, and Libertarians generally favor open borders without restrictions.

You're right, they generally do (myself excluded) but that policy is susposed to go hand in hand with the idea that we, as tax-payers, would not be required to support the immigrants. That is key. The reason I want the borders closed is because I pay too much in taxes already. Add between 4 and 64 million (the estimates posted here) to my tax burder and I'm thru, I can't support my family under a 60% tax burden. These people will now be able to apply for all sorts of assistance legally. Mark my words, we are going to go into massive debt over this.

Let's see: last night Bill O'Reilly castigated it; so did Alan Keyes, who managed to muzzle steve moore, whose only debating tactic is to start screaming in the middle of someone else being perfectly rational - in this, Tom Tancredo.

Tancredo did really well in both cases - intelligent, reasonable, restrained - the other guys had no answer for "why are you rewarding criminals?" other than the lame "well, they're here now".

Class Action Suit against the Federal Government on behalf of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS who entered the United States by following the rules of the Republic out of respect for the United States and Rule of Law.

There is not a LEGAL IMMIGRANT around who did not incur costs such as medical tests, police background tests, time off work, interviews at consulates, lawyers fees, fedexes, visa fees, international phone calls, photocopies, stamps, photos, etc. in preparation for legally coming to the United States.

There must be millions of them.

There must be a move to start a massive CLASS ACTION SUIT by LEGAL IMMIGRANTS to recover their costs in an effort to oppose the carte blanche for illegals which Bush and House Dems and GOPs granted yesterday.

This will pull the rug out from under the White House and pro-illegal immigration allies in the House.

There is no logical or strong argument that could ever counter the angry claim made by these LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Please, some Congressman or Senator step up to the plate!

I've been listening to Rush for the last 15 minutes or so and he has been talking about this and seems pretty negative on it. Said something earlier about it being very dangerous (security wise). And now just said it was morally wrong and politically wrong. He had a couple of calls on it, one definitely negative and the other mostly negative.

He admitted during the course of the interview that he was in Washington. Yet he couldn't get to the capitol to vote last night? If you had voted "NO", Van, the bill would have FAILED! Do I understand that properly? If there had been ONE MORE "NO" VOTE, this amnesty bill would NOT have passed? I want confirmation on this, before I go off on this radio host for not following up on this with Hilleary. By the way; Hilleary is running for governor of Tennessee, and probably does not want conservatives to find out that he "allowed" this bill to pass

I hope we as Americans in trouble, can count on Tennessee freepers to make sure the voters know this, by showing up at all his public speaking engagements and freeping him with his uncaring and unseemly behaviour. Tie this legislation around his neck like an arbatross.
