This subject is of immediate, urgent interest to me.

My mother is a nurse, and she is among the nominees for one of ten Golden Circle Awards to be presented Sunday by the Orange County Red Cross. The awards "recognize volunteers for their dedication to delivering services to those in need throughout Orange County". My mother has been a volunteer since 1982 in Disaster Health Services. The awards will be presented during the Red Cross' annual volunteer recognition luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine.

God bless your mother. I believe this all arose out of the program being put on for the awards for volunteers, probably the same affair your mother is to receive her honor.
