I think the passage you posted is just pointing out the existing facts. I'm not sure what you mean -- what do you think they should have written? Should they not written have what they did? I was not offended by it at all. They were saying: 'X is the growth rate of this population.'

To me, I read it against the background of knowing FL has had such an explosion in population that we now have two additional, new electoral votes as a result of the last census. So, it was interesting to me to know what percentage of that growth is- whatever. In this case, Asian-American. That's how I read it. Just information. Not as a slant in any way.
