Don't worry, I'm sure it's all part of a deal AmChurch has cut with the Government to further undermine Rome's authority.....Taking a page from China and instituting the American Catholic Church.

Rome ceded its authority to the Bishops long ago when it gave them the status of co-Popes. It is not as if Rome has not been aware of this horrible problem, it's simply because they have chosen to ignore it as the Bishop Laws of the Church have done. The American Catholic Church was instituted some 40 years ago with the blessing and permission of Rome.

This happened around Vatican II as they let AmChurch go whole hog with "the spirit of" Vatican II?
