To depose that lying albino piece of dog excrement would make my decade.

Don't hold back caddie, tell us how you really feel about Gephardt....

>> Stupid Saint Louisans keep voting for this socialist Rat time and time again. <<

St. Louis is an ultra-liberal welfare haven and keeps electing a guy named William Clay over and over again (which is not suprising, the Clay machine is the Missouri version of Jesse Jackson's district in Chicago).

On the other hand, Dickie's district is in the middle-class, St. Louis SUBURBS. Why they keep electing him is anybody's guess! He almost lost back in '98.

I used to live in Frost's district. Our county, which is directly south of Dallas, was so Republican that in 1992, Clinton came in a distant third behind Bush and Perot. But Frost's district was drawn to make it impossible to get rid of him. It looked like a police chalk outline of a centipede. Every election, it was the same story: the Republican challenger would be ahead of Frost by 55-45%, then regular as clockwork, right around 10 p.m., they'd add in a bunch of votes from a south Ft. Worth housing project 50 miles away that had been gerrymandered into our district, and voila! Two more years of Martin Frost. He's like a malignant mole that you can't cut off. Redistricting is the only cure.

I would never have believed that one could blast Gephardt out of politics. Something must be up.

His last act in Congress will be to insert a loophole in the CFR bill that exempts expenditures for eyebrow pencils from the spending caps.

House Democrats expect that current minority leader Dick Gephardt will resign from the leadership post if his party fails, as expected, to win back the house from the Republicans.

Well this is good news, indeed!

Gephardt would then focus all of his energies on a presidential bid.

Darn-- just when I though the headline meant we'd never see him again.

I remember hearing or reading somewhere liberal women voted for clinton because of his looks.

Outside of the usual Dem voter fraud, that's why JFK got elected in 1960.

Even during the Civil War elections were not cancelled. In fact, in the 1864 election it was the Union army that overwhelmingly returned Lincoln to office so they could finish the job.
