Remember that the serial killer in Indiana who was believed to have poisoned some 150 patients was a nurse too [they quit the prosecutions after a couple of dozen convictions, as I recall....] Thankfully, they're not at all representative of most healthcare workers. But a few like that creep in.

her appearance just screams out, I'm dumb. We can safely assume that the reason she is a nurse's aide is because the nurse exam was failed.

Or possibly had never been attempted. Too busy with the ecstasy and the crackpipe to give it a go, as likely.
