Yes, the International Dateline that runs between Alaska and Russia and down the Pacific. It is 17 hours ahead of EST. Ergo, no place can be more then 17 hours ahead of Washington right now. If your location is more west of there, the dateline could be 19 hours ahead.

Some island (on this side of the dateline) self-decreed that the dateline "wiggled" their way, and claimed to be the first inhabited spot to see the new century, fwiw.

However, I can't see the tail of the plane, lol. I have no doubt it's there, and I can see the blur in the first frame, but not in the second. This plane was really moving at high speed. That is some fuel-rich fireball ...

That is the only reasonable explanation, I find it highly unlikely that the photos were filed into the computer on Sept 12 on the exact second of the crash 09:37:19 (05:37:19)

I do remember those Islands in the Pacific moving up time zones to the the 'first' in the milenium-but little did they know the USS Topeka sub was stationed underneath the International Dateline just in case anything started happening missile wise. The Topeka is always the first in any war zone.

The Island's name is Kiribati that moved the dateline, but the real line is still west of there-they are just the first sunrise.

ATTU ALEUTIAN ISLAND OF ALASKA IS THE WESTERN MOST PART OF AMERICA, accroding to the travelogue 'causing the International Date Line to make a big jag to the west..'

Are some of the Pentagon clocks working off the missiles stationed in the most forward time zone?
