The object above the firemen is the remains of a 40' diesel generator that powered certain outside needs for the flight control tower that is to the far left and behind the red fire truck. There was a diesel fuel tank there that did cause a secondary explosion when the fuel finally lit off. There's speculation that one of the aircraft's engines impacted the trailer before striking the building, but I don't know if that was confirmed or not.
