Interesting. I was left-handed, forced to change in school...I can write either right or left handed, but its easier to write "mirror" style with my left hand...I didn't stutter, but had great difficulty with b's and d's, q's and p's, and when very young, thought E and 3 were the same thing...I still say "left" sometimes when I mean "right."

When I was teaching my left-handed daughter, at 3-years old, to print, she wrote from left to right with her left hand, but if she tried to write with her right hand she wrote mirror-style from right to left.

When she learned to read, she could read an upside-down book as fast as if it was right-side up.

hehehe, I still have to use my hand to make an "L" to figure out left and right sometimes. Maybe it's b/c we translate "right" to mean "left" when we're learning how to do something, and therefore when using it in a directional sense, we forget?

I was left-handed, forced to change in school...I can write either right or left handed

When I first learned to write, I would use my right hand until it became tired, then I would switch to my left hand.

When my left hand began to tire, I would switch back again.

Seemed perfectly natural to me.

One day while the class was copying a lesson from the blackboard, the teacher patrolled the isle between our desks.

On her fourth circuit around the room, the teacher noticed I was using my right hand and asked me if I had been using my other hand a moment ago, or was she going crazy.
