They're doing a pretty good job. Most of the public does not see what's going on in the background, and if I read that post correctly, I'd guess there's a pretty strong danger of a lawsuit should Walsh spill the beans on who and what they really are.

Yeah, you're right. Most people don't see what's really going on. And I'm sure Walsh wouldn't say anything, lawsuit or no, because he wants Westerfield convicted, like the rest of us. But surely the pro bono PR folks are getting to a point where they'd think they've done enough pro bonoing for the VD's?
