If you read it closely, the FBI is *denying* what the French paper is claiming.

You're going to hang your hat on one report from Reuters, from an unnamed FBI source? This same FBI that perpetrated Waco, Ruby Ridge, let Joseph Salvati spend 30 years in prison, won't provide information about the FBI shooting of a Maryland Eagle Scout? Give me a break.

If you read the AP article:

An FBI official, speaking on condition of anonymity, noted there were no espionage charges filed against any of the individuals and that they had been deported. Asked whether any spying activity occurred, the official repeated that no charges had been filed.

That, to me, is a classic "non-denial denial".

BTW, have you any comments on the extraordinary background and experience of the "art students"? Any at all?

You may want to inquire as to the opinion of national security advsiors as to what the level of damage done by the tranfer/selling/trading of the Pollard information to the Soviets did to America.

They'd rate it way past 1% of the 9-11 damage, so I guess that's a "ping".

Look, you established the 1% thresh hold as a point at which your curiosity would be piqued. I have met it, unless of course you can only think in terms of the obvious, or if you think the transfer of high level American intelligence to it's intercontinentally nuclear ballistically equipped adversary should be a matter of Israeli descretion.

But really, I ask you in all sincerity, what percentage do you think would be accurate? Because I believe that the Israelis still have done far, far less damage to us. If that changes, so will my support.

What I don't understand is why a few people are so eager to shine a light upon the fraction (whatever it may be) of Israeli misdeeds while ignoring, excusing, or pretending there is symmetry with those of the Islamicists.

I think the fact that Pollard remains locked up to this day speaks to the percentage, and I appreciate and respect your fairness on this matter.

Myself, well my biggest concern right now in our nations battle is of course Al Queda, but my secondary concern is ferreting out all who had prior knowledge of the 9-11 attacks. IMHO, there are many here who had heads-ups...and I don't mean Arabs, and I don't mean Israelis....I mean players.

My gut tells me that is the case (i.e.- there are rats in the house). I want to know who these people are, I want them hanged regardless of station.
