"They have...
lost(link)---a big one."
"They're like Napoleon's army in Moscow. They have occupied a lot of territory, and they think they've won the war. And yet they are very exposed in a hostile climate with a population that's very much unfriendly."
"That's the case with the Darwinists in the United States. The majority of the people are skeptical of the theory. And if the theory starts to waver a bit, it could all collapse, as Napoleon's army did in a rout."

Do you want to stay on topic here? We go from discussing the validity or not of the theory of evolution and whether it is in conflict with religion to citing court cases about forcing "intellegent design" be taught?
You just don't get it do you, I have nothing against intellegent design. Evolution does not suppose that no intellegence is inate or seperate from the system. Only the fervent anti-evolutionist crowd is so bold as to make such assumptions.
The only people who think they are in conflict with one another are the radical rabid fundamentalists. Who also believe the earth is only 3000 years old, that dinosaurs never existed and the earth is still flat. There is no contention between evolution and creation, except for on the creationist side who are so damned arrogant as to claim they know exactly how and why God works at all levels. The intollerance in this debate without question comes from the creationists.
