Real Americans

Sometimes it seems as if gen-nyew-wine, honest-to-goodness, red-blooded real Americans are a disappearing breed, but thankfully they aren't. They just aren't where one might think they should be.

No, don't look at major media, news anchors (for mercy's sake don't look at CNN or Carville and company), chuck most of Hollywood in the dumpsters, and don't look at major cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago or even Dallas where the handouts draw liberals like cowpiles draw flies. Forget the big colleges and universities that started out as bastions of freedom and seminaries for preparing American preachers of the Gospel. All state universities are suspect, but Berkeley has become the Left Coast branch of the Kremlin and has been for many years now, it practically fits the perfect description of a terrorist training camp. No, don't look to our institutions of higher indoctrination in Marxism.

One of the things I like most about FR is that you can read many articles from many different publications without having to leave FR. Drudge, for example, makes you leave his site, go to another site and put up with all the banner and graphics BS before you can read the article. Thus, I really hate it when a fellow FReeper is too 'lazy' or 'busy' to take the time to post the complete article. If you're not going to post all the article, why post any of the article? Why not just give us a lousy link like Drudge does?

That said, here's the complete article, which is excellent!

Don't look to the CEO's of multinational corporations, they want overseas money and are willing to sell out America to get it. The bottom line is "god" and no human sacrifice is too great to appease this greedy "god" of the corporate mega-giant. So if you plan to carry a Diogenes lantern around looking for a red-blooded American patriot, skip the giants of industry and their so-called philanthropic foundations.

Skip the government bureaucracies, federal and state. Votes and payback appointments are the key issues, not saving America. A lot of Americans are finally waking up to this fact. Maybe they'll up and do something about it before it gets much worse.

The real Americans are dotted all over the land, in the rugged west, the rainy south, the amber-grained plains of the midwest and even in pockets of the Atlantic seaboard. These Americans ride tractors and harvest grains. They work in stores and shops and own small businesses. They're driving the 18-wheelers across this nation to supply the people who work in big cities or who live off the dole in big cities, who are there legally or illegally. But day and night, the 18-wheelers are on the move, and we've got a bunch of red-blooded patriots at the wheel of many a big rig on the roads and interstates.

Among the small business owners who are struggling against pyramids of government red tape to just survive, we find patriots who want our free America back and a lot less government supervising individuals who can do just fine without government intervention, thank you very much and goodbye Mr. G-man.

Some of us are retired but still watching our government through our bifocals. Oh yes, the glasses get wet from tears at times, and at other times they steam up when we get hot under the collar at some bureaucratic twits thinking they're going to haul us into a cattle pen and vaccinate us against smallpox or bubonic. We're steamed when we hear the term "Social Security lockbox" because we know dang good and well our incomes and purchasing power wouldn't be diminishing every year if there had been such a lockbox, personal retirement account and sound investment of the money the government stole from us for the forty-plus years we worked.

We're seniors, but we're not senile seniors, we're active and we want a voice in the direction our government takes. We know we're losing that voice. And some are still "minutemen" waiting for the opportunity to take back our nation.

We're internet writers and ezine publishers, churched or unchurched, well-educated or only barely educated, but with one common goal: set America free and keep her that way, never let her again be seduced by left-wing socialists who lie, steal, cheat and play the harlot with every foreign enemy this nation ever had.

We're the ones who would pay twice as much for gasoline if it were American gasoline, not refined Arab oil. We're the ones who want America to stop meddling overseas and give us back our nation and let the people decide how they want to go (after the alien voters are all kicked out). We're the ones who want an English-only America, because if you're going to be here and live here and vote here, then you should know what "here" is all about! If you didn't like your own country where it was, then don't bring it over here to become a plague to what our forefathers fought, bled and died to build.

We'd like a good old handshake is a deal, word-of-honor America with our Bible-based value system back. We'd like to kick all the liberals off the Supreme Court. out of the State Department and out of Congress, let Fidel Castro give them a home. I'm sure he would love to have the company of like-minded commies.

We're Americans. A few may be university professors, a few may have made a name for themselves and a few may be scientific geniuses, but for the most part we're very ordinary folks with no outstanding qualities except our love for America, what she stood for, and the way we grew up. We'd like to shove your spy-cams where the sun don't shine, and take your federalized airport security staffers and put them to work on our borders and at the seaports where the illegals come marching through like locusts.

We want discipline back in our schools and automatic expulsion for kids who are barely dressed, wearing gang attire or sporting nose and lip rings. We want principals who are principled, not mouthpieces for the politically correct "novus ordo seculorum." We don't need teachers who spout the theory of evolution as fact and teach from revised history books to diss the founding fathers and the folks who made this nation great.

Want to find some real Americans? Go to the truck stops, the corner shops, the small farms, the little towns full of people nobody knows, the ezines where Americans write about America and how badly we want her back.

You can find us if you don't look at the television, the movies, the slick mags, the corporate executive suites or the sprawling bureaucracy from which these leeches bleed us and our hard-earned money for their own luxury. We're here, we want to be heard and one of these days, we SHALL be heard, good and loud.

Just you wait.
