Do we have a bump list for all the 'accidental' or over-zealous murders of citizens by unaccountable LEO's? The list is growing quickly enough that it may need monitoring. Call it the "Untouchables"?

Yes, as well as others. They can think what they want and rant as they will; every group of rogues has it's bootlickers. If there is any justice at all in this world, they would find themselves similarly victimized. If this also served to alter their mindset, so much the better.

Law enforcement agents are not evil. Law enforcement agencies are not evil. Yes, mistakes happen. Yes, the mistakes are tragic and heart breaking. But the only EVIL people are the people who use EMOTIONS and BROKEN HEARTS to further this or that political agenda. The left are scum to do it about gun control. The libertarians are scum to do it about law enforcement.

That's pure BS, Why do you have a problem with LEO's being held to the same standards as civilians? because you are a LEO.

During the depression, Congress made bank robbery a federal crime, despite their lack of enumerated power to do so. The excuse was that bank robbers were getting away scot free by crossing state lines, which was BS. They might evade a pursuer temporarily by crossing state lines, but the states cooperated in hunting down criminals.

So, the FBI gets first jurisdiction over bank robberies, as ridiculous as that is with every state police force now equipped with radios in every car, and instant access to other jurisdictions for establishing roadblocks, etc.

From what I hear about the local LE in that area, though, the same thing may just as easily have happened with them in charge rather than the Feebs.

The FBI sicko ordered the boy out of his car and then shot him as he was complying by unbuckling his seatbelt.

We could reduce crime in America by reducing FBI forces by 80 per cent- For a starter....

The Federal Marshal who shot little Sammy's Weaver's dog was later given a U.S.govt. medal. And of course not one FBI agent has been tried for the murder of the innocents at Waco,Tx..were 25 little children died.

I don't know what they'll do to this guy, but he should be tried for murder

Some options for stopping this kind of thing is to take away all military weaponry from FLEAs. They do not need M4s. They aren't soldiers and if they were, they wouldn't be enforcing domestic laws. Another option is to get the federal government completely out of law enforcement by repealing unconstitutional federal criminal statutes.

The Constitution spells out exactly where Congress may pass criminal statutes. They have created this mess and they have to be the ones who undo it.

I sure do miss Skeeter, although I never met him.

Just about cried when he left us. He sure could tell a tale.

I particularly remember him telling the story of Jeff Davis Milton, who Skeeter thought was maybe the greatest lawman of them all. I had never heard of Milton, despite the fact that he was born and raised not far from where I was in the Florida Panhandle.

I once had some dealings with an FBI agent. Can't tell the story because of privacy act but he was a real piece of work. In fact he was not just an agent but a supervisor. I recall thinking the same thing as you. J. Edgar Hoover would never have put up with that guy.

I might also add that one of my best friend's Sister was a secretary with the FBI. We went to Washington D.C. to visit her and her two room-mates. A couple of FBI agents came by their apartment while we were there and they struck me as a couple of real sleazeballs. They were smart sleazeballs tho.

"The FBI for the most part provides valuable services in that regard."

My opinion is that the FBI provides valuable services for aiding and abetting criminals (ie Horiuchi, Reno) get away with vicious murders.

It may soon reach the point where your average joe-six pack is going to start thinking that the only good FBI agent is a dead one.

BTW here's a tip if federal thugs come busting down your door in the middle of the night: Make head shots.

Thank you- I hesitated to add a word, as these shoot/no-shoot situations are fraught with peril- even the participants and witnesses often don't really know what happened.

Excuse me - This was not a "shoot/no-shoot" situation. That is simply a phrase to make it look like they have the most dangerous and demanding job in the world, and they do not ! It was clearly a "no-shoot" situation all the way, no gun should have been pointed, no finger on the trigger. There is no "decision" to make- it is common sense- not to mention the common law of the land.

The same law applies to everybody and this FBI Agent should be tried for murder. While I believe in the second amendment, the right of a citizen to bear arms, this guy needs a felony on his record so that he can never be hired as a policeman again, anywhere ! But it is possible the FBI will "protect one of their own" and keep him on the payroll like Lon Horiuchi ! After all the guy he shot they would call a "subject" .

Obviously it was a RACIST ATTACK by a Agent of the FBI. Who was placed in his position thru Affirmative Action.

You're getting warm.

How about being certified all thru training because of AA and the need to graduate a certain mix of agents.

The guy should be hauled to court and every instructor that certified him charged as an accessory to felonious assault.

"It's an ongoing investigation, and under most circumstances we do not give out too much information," Maddox said.

Translation:

Give us a chance to get our story straight and dispose of the evidence.

The official story will probably be that they don't want to say anything about how they mistook the victim's vehicle for the robber's, because that would reveal how they learned what the robber's vehicle was.

How can these tragic clowns be forced to come clean. Could Congress be somehow persuaded to open its own investigation?
