The Ch47 is one of the best helicopters ever built. It is a true, "truck" in the air. They have been flying for 40 years. "you dont "trust" them? Get real, It was shot down. Get it! They have among the best safety records of any helicopter in the world. That is why The US Govenment keeps modifying them rather then replaceing them. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER FOR THR JOB, PERIOD!!

Oh yeah, they are safe alright, a regular SUV of the air!
But then do you realize just how unsafe SUV's are!
I have many hours flown in them & don't like them at all, but I'm a little predjudiced about them- almost died in one.
