Cell phones are always emitting trackable signals on the system, even when they're turned "off." That's why the battery runs down even when you don't make or receive any calls.

That's why the battery runs down even when you don't make or receive any calls. Thank you for that information--could never understand why the batteries were going dead when I rarely use the thing.
