Is it just me or do you feel a message in these words? If DW is their man, what isn't "over"? I doubt they mean the trial and such. Weird !!!!

If you read the entire statement from the SDPD you' see that is exactly what they meant. They have lots of tips to run down, and evidence to examine and analyze. They need to do all this to build an air tight case for the DA, so they can execute the slime, which is very difficult in CA. Even premediated murder won't get the job done, they have to prove kidnapping or other ehancements to the crime, rape would be one of those too, I think.
