Not everything is a conspiracy. I've followed this story and haven't heard a thing that would make me think the parents played a role in this.
These people don't act like the Yates. They act like people who have been through the emotional ringer and might deserve an inch or two of slack.
The ungrounded venom in some of these posts is the kind of kneejerk blind emotional reaction I expect from the left. Maybe some of you should head over to Democatic Underground.
Well said, stuff like this is beginning to make FreeRepublic.com feel like a tabloid. If I wanted that sort of crap I'd hang out at PathMark Checkout Counter's and flip throught the Enquirer.
Interesting. So a man whose child is senselessly murdered by his wife bears responsibility for those deaths because he is a "nutcase" fundamentalist Christian.
But any reasonable consideration that the sick, twisted, perverse lifestyle of the van Dams might mean they may have played a role in their daughter's death--that's just outrageous!
Did I get that right?
When you get out to the lunatic fringes, there is no real difference between the radical left and the radical right. They are both headed to the same place, just trying to get there from different directions.
Seems to me you have this completely backwards. Liberals condone and support homosexual and pedophiles(sp) and pornography. A liberal would be supporting the lifestyle of these parents and exclaiming it was no ones business what people do behind closed doors.
