Your premise is that no leader can be child molesters because leftists want to sow distrust ?
The media sensationize those cases where people in positions of trust have betrayed that trust, for two reasons: First, it sells papers ("Man bites dog" gets more play than "dog bites man.") Second, because their agenda is to destroy the venerable, traditional institutions that have been pillars of moral public and private life in our society.
They are Marxists, fundamentally, and it suits their ultimate aims to demonize Church, heterosexuality and morality.
Thus, as an example from a different case you have the homosexual martyr, Matthew Shepard--who was cruising for some gay action and bit off more than he could chew--and the near-simultaneous ignoring of the death of the seven-year-old boy in Arkansas at the hands of two homosexuals.
IOW, it isn't that what you fear most CAN'T happen, but that in reality it is far less likely to happen than you have been led to believe.
And so, you'll see a complete playing-down of the van Dams' alleged sexual adventuring, and a playing-UP of the Yates' fundamentalist Christianity. The two cases serve as icons for--or against--the Leftist media's campaign of misinformation.
And as I said, many of you people fall for it on a regular basis.
