I remember an old Columbo movie in which the police didn't know where the suspected killer hid the body, soooo......Columbo conducted a very obvious search of a construction site, AND THEN watched from a hidden place. He caught the killer attempting to dispose of the body in the already "searched" location.
Interesting thought..... whoever had Danielle kept track of where the cops had looked, went back later to one of those spots and dumped the body thinking that the cops wouldn't go back there and look again.
