Maybe, just maybe, the sides at the negotiating table didn't trust the big creep sugar bubba, so they knew in their hearts, at the time, that any negotiations with a congenital liar were bound to fail. He wasn't really trying to solve the mideast problem, he was really trying to build his legacy. Nobel peace prize anyone? Bill the "kill our enemies" peacemaker.

Re # 117. What hasn't been noted here is the Big Creep's mishandling of the Irish "peace talks" as well. This guy was throwing himself headlong into the Rodney King doctrine of Can't We All Get Along and brought the checkbook of the American taxpayer with him. All of these "talks" were shams designed for media play and any lasting "peace" that were to come from them would be short lived.

If he was so concerned with "peace," why did Marc Rich's name keep coming up when he was chatting with his Israeli "peace" partner?
