WHen I heard that on the news ( I was watching local coverage)..my jaw just dropped when I heard the reporter say they were going out to dinner. I could not imagine that!

However, it was later clarified that the children were going to be taken out to dinner, by a family friend.

Unless you see something here I don't, I don't have a problem with them going out for dinner.Maybe he or she just didn't feel much like cooking. I know I wouldn't.
