"One simply has to work their way up the food chain until they find someone that can resolve the problem." Some people as a matter of personal policy don't take the time and effort to plead their way up the snot-rope in the hope that eventually, they'll find someone willing to treat them like a human being. They simply take their money to someone they don't have to beg to accept it.
I have the utmost respect for that sort of person, inasmuch as I'm one of 'em.

Unfortunately as an IT professional i have to deal with "snot-rope" situatuations all the time. Any of these huge companies are going to have these problems from time to time. As far as having the utmost respect for people unwilling to try and work things out in a businesslike manner....that is up to you. this time the knee-jerk reaction of this type has set off a firestorm of unwarranted criticism of one of (if not the) best computer manufacturers on the planet. The only reason any of these companies even has to care about this stuff is because of the money hungry lawyers and their sue everyone mentality.

We 'Don's" are together on this one. I wont waste any time or spend anymore money with a company that doesn't appreciate my business. Does not matter if it was a clerk being insolent or the home office policy causing me heartburn. I simply let em know why, then find another company who wants/deserves my business.

Good for you. What a miserable life you must live. When someone makes a mistake you allow for no opportunity to correct it. And you're proud of it
News flash: We all make mistakes, including you.
What differentiates us is what we do about our mistakes and if we allow others to honorably make right their errors.
We know where you stand
