How does a baby save himself?

That's exactly my point, Mom. The baby doesn't. He has no need, since he has no sin to be saved from. That is my position.

Your position (as I see it) is that all babies are automatically guilty of sin that should cause them to be thrown into hell. You also state that God steps in and saves all infants who die in infancy so they go to heaven--without any repentance or realization of sin on the part of the baby.

Since God can step in with all infants and save them--through no action of their own--why does He only choose some adults to save? What does man lose when he reaches the age of culpability?

You are the ones that believe in synergism not me...I have been consistent that God's grace is the sole factor in all salvations.

First show me where an age of accountability is addressed in scriptures hold that all of us are born with the sin of Adam because we all had a part in that sin..But that God is gracious and saves a remnant for Himself and that remnant includes children.

Wade you have misunderstood doc I believe, I believe perhaps the vocabulary is the confusing factor ..I will bump you to Jerry and Op..to be sure I am presenting this correctly

I believe what doc was saying was actually the same thing I have been saying. Man is totally depraved..he loves his sin. That man can not and will not left on his own seek God.

Something must change if that man will ever see himself as a sinner in need of a savior. That something is spiritual regeneration ..that spiritual dead man must come to life..

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Man needs a new heart..a new life to seek God.That regeneration is what I believe doc would refer to as being born again (as opposed to saved)

God gives us His grace , that grace draws us to Him..it woos us and changes our hearts and our desires. The word of God comes alive for the first time. Things start to make sense, our hearts desire is now for God (we are not dragged kicking and screaming....we run to Him ) As we read the word we are confronted by God and see ourselves as God sees us. Filthy rags. And as man does all throughout the word we fall in front of Him in godly sorrow and repentance...we give Him our lives.( We are saved)
