I'm curious to know, do you disagree with what I said? If not, I assume you are willing to accept the fact that your actions will also further your ideological enemies' ability to initiate their plans as well?

I support the second amendment. I firmly believe that we all have a right to self protection. I understand that this would also allow other individules whom I consider my enemys the same tools for self defense. Should I endorse the removal of the second amendment because it enhances my enemies ability to fight against me as well? Should I abandon my struggle to maintain the ability to protect myself because of a fear that the same tool has potential to be used against me? I believe the answer is NO. I believe you feel the same way about this when it comes to the second amendment. Why is it then that you find one tool with the potential for good and evil more scary then another tool with equal potential? This would seem inconsistant with a conservative view.
