The San Juan School District in Sacramento, California cancelled a field trip for three schools in the district to see Vice President Cheney, because one parent (who works for Gov Gray Davis) objected. They claimed it was partisan, even though the same school district allowed students to meet Vice President Gore in a fund raiser for a person (Garimendi) running for some office in California in 1998.

Did you call KSFO about the San Juan situation this morning? I was surprised how dismissive Lee Rodgers was of the outrage.
