I agree. Back in St. Louis we'd hear Harriers, Phantoms, Hornets and Eagles all the time. Plus the big MAC aircraft from Scott AFB, on top of all the traffic to and from Lambert, Bethalto, Parks, etc. You can tell what most are just by sound. Wonderful sound.
