Then open it. If you don't like what you see, delete it. Get an email client that allows you to screen content. See comment here.

#42 - you are right. I've probably deleted some genuine messages because I was unsure of the sender or content.

Subjects like - "Here is the info you requested" or "I need some info".

I reason if it is a genuine message the sender will try the telephone or fax.
