All well and good.

But when court's rule consistently IN FAVOR of the pornographer's "right" to display publicly his wares, the Government has indeed curtailed the rights of those who prefer they and their children not to be subject to the pornographer's conditioning.

You can't have it both ways.

I'm not aware pornographers can "publically display" their wares. If you're speaking of the internet, you may have a point, however it is so new and no one is really in charge of "policing" the net if that were even possible, which I doubt. In any case, I'd put my efforts into protest and free speech countering their free speech rather than wasting time with censorship. There are a lot of highly effective means to protest things one doesn't like.

I'm of the opinion that not only do I have the "right" of free speech, I am obligated to use it, rather than take the lazy way out and expect the "government" to do it for me.

More on human slavery. This sort of thing has been going on for thousands of years, especially in respressed societies with no open press, free speech and virtually no rights for women whatsoever. Time for a change. http://www.bostonphoenix.com/boston/news_features/top/features/documents/02161802.htm
