I embrace God by following a very simple tenant..."do unto others that which you would have done unto you"....I think it's probably from the bible, oh yeah, and a lot of prayer. Certainly the Golden Rule as it is called is important for a Christian. However, you need to understand that if you are not "embracing" the TRUE God, but what you think is God, then even your prayers will not be heard.
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.
And if you are not "embracing" the TRUE God, then what you are doing is idolatry. Idolatry is evil. So, how do you know that you are "embracing" the TRUE God?

Basically, it seems that if I don't believe as you do, I am wrong. Other than what the bible says, how do you know you are right?
The 'golden rule' is not for Christians only, it is for all humans.
Luckily, this will all work itself out when we die.
