INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- An Kansas City-area psychiatrist claims that he is treating Elvis Presley for migraine headaches, affilliate TV station KMBC-TV in Kansas City reported.
Elvis lives and still sings, but he no longer shakes his hips because he is old now and has arthritis, Dr. Donald Hinton said.
"I hear from him on a regular basis. ... On Sunday, it was by phone," Hinton said. "I'm treating Elvis Aaron Presley, the entertainer, (whom) everybody believes died in 1977."
A photo (left) in a book by Hinton supposedly shows a present-day Elvis, who has had plastic surgery.
"He has white hair now. He's 67 years old," Hinton said. "He's given me things that can be tested (and) that actually (have) his DNA on them."
Hinton said he has a gold tooth from Elvis. He said he also co-wrote a book about the King with Elvis called "The Truth About Elvis Aron Presley."
Elvis now goes by Jessie, the name of his twin brother, who died at birth, Hinton said.
Hinton speaks to groups about his once-secret patient and about the book that explains how friends helped Elvis hide.
"This is all part of his plan for 2002," Hinton said.
Elvis has a plan to bring grieving fans out of the dark and tell them he faked his death 25 years ago so that he could get away and get healthy, Hinton said.
"People will think I'm crazy or that I've been tricked by someone," Hinton said.
Hinton holds a medical degree from the University of Kansas. He is a board-certified practicing physician.
Missouri's Board of Healing Arts told KMBC-TV that Hinton is "currently licensed as an MD." His license was issued in 1993, according to the board. "It is current (and) active with no discipline," the board said of Hinton's license.
Hinton said people have made a lot of money from Elvis' supposed death.
The publisher for Hinton's book said it has not made a profit, and Hinton supposedly told his publisher that he didn't want any money from the book.
The book cost thousands of dollars to publish, and Hinton said the money came out of his pocket.

Hinton holds a medical degree from the University of Kansas. He is a board-certified practicing physician. Perhaps the board should re-certify annually after checking up on these doctors. I'm sure this Doc isn't hoping to profit from this book, it's informational right?

Little goody Elvis, Little goody Elvis..
(if you saw "Army of Darkness" then this will make perfect sense.. If you didn't, well then you will probably think I am either drunk or Libertarian.)

Elvis has left the building.
And apparently the good doctor has taken leave of his senses.

This was reported here a week or so ago and between then and now Elvis assured me that he never heard of the guy. He has been seeing Doctor Nick Riviera for his physical needs and Doctor Marvin Monro for his psychological ailments. (This information can be easily verified, but won't be because of media bias that we've heard do mach about recently.) That said, Elvis also asked me to assure his fans everywhere that he's in excellent health. Case closed.

Two polls came out in Canaduh at the same time in the late 80's or early 90's. One showed that then-Prime Minister Mulroney had the support of 11% of Canadians. The other showed that 17% of Canadians thought Elvis was still alive. The Canadian media had a field day.

The Canadian media had a field day. And was that due to the 6% discrepancy, suggesting that 6% of those polled were dead or "dead" like Elvis?

RCA records is running out of possible song combination in Elvis re-releases. Can we then expect a new album titled Having Fun with Elvis in the Examining Room?
